Dakota is the main gardener at the Hotel! Things are looking pretty good out front and next to the
cottage where
Amy brought in hostas and
hydranda in for the cottage and roses for out in front of Myers. Jack is keeping busy too with the cottage, adding the shower is done, just a few finishing touches on the walls and floor and its ready. New hot water heater in the picture to the right is in the cottage. Directly to the right is a pic of an area we will use for the ice cream shop, and looking thru the wall the new bedroom down stairs is Dakota checking things out.

Dining room

Here is the current look of the dining room, Amy, Alayna, Mary and Morgan pulled all the wallpaper down, Jack added a bar area into what was the downstairs bedroom and returned the room to its original configuration. With the wide dark trim and wood floors this room should be beautiful when we get it finished. Won't be long now!

Entrance to 2nd floor

These stairs will be the entrance to the 2 all new larger rooms upstairs. We are adding walk-in showers to both upstairs rooms. The smaller room with a sitting area is now one large room with a little reading nook. At the top of the stairs there is a small room we will use as an entry to both upstairs room. We haven't decided how we will landscape out here, except for expanding the stone area and adding a fire pit and area for family barbeque's!

A new coat of paint

The old Dining room

The New Look at the Myers House

Welcome to the Myers House Blog where you can follow our progress during our renovations, and events and specials once we get open for business. We have been making progress inside for almost a month now. Making the rooms a little larger and adding larger walk in waterfall showers to the upstairs rooms. Little changes here and there that will add to our guests comfort every night! Can't wait to see the dining hall when we get it painted! Took the wallpaper down last week and should be ready to paint this really great color called Polo Blue by the end of the week.
But outside! There is a new color! Take a look when you come by, its really great. We decided to go bold and make the stone work on the foundation and front of the Hotel really show up. If you can guess how many hours and gallons of paint it takes to paint the outside of the hotel and cottage you will win dinner at West End Cafe. Just email us at circlesinn@aol.com to enter the contest. Soon we will have a email for Myers House, and we do have a phone number 785-843-4477 to call in your guess.
